In light of current guidance from the NHS, and in order to reduce the number of patients visiting the surgery, we have taken the difficult decision to close our doors to all visitors. Our GPs are now conducting assessments over the telephone, and if necessary, by video link. When you call and speak to one of our receptionists, you will be asked a number of questions so that your call can be directed appropriately.
If you have symptoms associated with coronavirus, including a new continuous cough and a high temperature, you are advised to stay at home for seven days. If your symptoms are serious or get worse NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can advise you what to do. Only call 111 direct if you cannot go online, or are advised to do so once you have filled in their online questionnaire.
For the latest COVID-19 advice, please visit the NHS.uk Coronavirus website. Please rest assured that your care is our priority during these difficult times.
These are clearly difficult times, but we are planning on remaining open and continuing to provide a service to all our patients. If you have any concerns about what you should do with regards to your health, please do contact the practice and ask for a telephone appointment.
